        he Technology Development Fund has been established to support small and medium sized businesses in rural Atlantic Canada by helping them develop and adopt new technologies.

        The Technology Development Fund (TDF) is a program that provides an opportunity to enhance, expand or start a business using various technologies. The fund also encourages the development and commercialization of technologies from basic computerization to uncharted concepts and beyond!!

   Program Highlights:

  • Financing for up to $125,000 in the form of a loan or equity.

  • Support up to 100% of identified and eligible project costs.

  • Customized loan repayment schedule.

  • Accessible only in CBDC geographic service area.

  • Terms of up to 60 months.

  • Available to new or existing businesses.

  • Available to seasonal and year round businesses.
        The Technology Development Fund will help you overcome obstacles that you may be facing as you try to adopt, utilize and develop new technologies.

How to Qualify?

   You can qualify if you...

  • Have been unsuccessful in obtaining financing from other lending institutions

  • Are looking to adopt or develop new technologies

  • Are located in rural Atlantic Canada

Your local CBDC will listen and work with you to see if your idea matches the TDF program.
